What I believe

I am a non-pentecostal evangelical Christian who aims to promote THE LORD JESUS CHRIST instead of denominational distinctives. I believe that the Bible is the only inspired, authoritative Word of God, and that it is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness. It teaches that God is the Creator of all things; that He exists eternally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit; and that Jesus Christ is God come to earth in fleshly form - truly God and truly man - born of a virgin to become the Son of God.

Why did God come to earth? He came to rescue the people He loved - you and me - because we are all sinners and fall short of His perfect standard. The wages of sin is death and a certain future in hell, BUT... God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to die for the sins of the world, so that whoever believes in Jesus should not perish but have everlasting life. This means that Jesus alone is our ticket to heaven! Not self-improvement, nor good works, nor anything else you could think of. Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me." And His words are true. Those individuals who acknowledge their sin before God, trust Christ as their Saviour, are baptised in water according to His command, and experience new life through His Spirit, will spend eternity with the most awe-inspiring God of Love.
